More than four thousand farmers in Szabolcs asked support due to frost damages

More than four thousand farmers in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county asked for support from the agri-compensation system, due to frost damages  – said the regional government office to MTI on Wednesday.

About 4100 farmers in the Nyírség submitted their claim for compensation – told Guttyán Tamás village economist. He added that at about 10 percent of the submitters will be rejected, because there is 30 percent yield loss at their field, which is a criteria to get the support – reports MTI.
