Stew from more than three hundred sheeps during the weekend in Karcag
At the 16th Karcagi sheep cooking festival stew was prepared from more than three hundred sheeps on Saturday’s competition day. A record number of participants took part in the competition as well.
“We continue the traditions of our ancestors when we prepare the sheep on the last Saturday of June, according to the old traditions” – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture and parliamentary representative of the area said at the festival's opening ceremony. (MTI)
