More than three thousand schoolchildren have received a pack of school supplies in the Auchan charity

Following last year’s successful initiative, Auchan gathered more than twice as many school supplies in September this year as part of its ation for the National Association for Large Families (NOE). The donators could provide school starting tools at the collection points at Auchan stores.

Auchan donated 45,483 school supplies to nearly 1,300 families, with the help of 645 volunteers in this year’s Auchan and NOE joint fundraising campaign. In the nearly three-week action, the most active donors were the buyers of Auchan in Kecskemét, Szigetszentmiklós and Óbuda, but there were a lot of packages in the Dunakeszi and Soroksár stores as well.

In addition to the now closed fundraising event, Auchan is contributing to NOE’s future goals with one million forints.
