Two Spar-supermarkets revamped
Approximately half a billion forints per store was spent on the complete modernization of SPAR’s two business units. The facade renovation was accompanied by a complex interior remodeling, which included a new SPAR to Go in both stores, as well as self-service cash registers to help with shopping.
“Our goal is to offer our customers a modern and comfortable shopping experience everywhere. Therefore, paying attention to the growth of purchasing power in the settlements – and in the catchment areas – and keeping in mind the constantly changing customer expectations, we shape the profile, appearance and product range of our modernized stores. We did the same in the case of the supermarket in Alsópáhok and Budapest, őrmezei. Out of a total of more than HUF 1 billion, the modernized units have a wider range of goods that also serve special nutritional needs. Also, SPAR enjoy. ready-to-eat convenience products have also become available in stores: and SPAR to Go offers fresh food. And thanks to the self-service checkouts, shopping will be faster and more convenient, said Márk Maczelka, Head of Communications.
