More than a ton of unmarked vegetables and fruits have been found by the Tax Office’s staff in Makó
More than a ton of unknown origin vegetables and fruits have been found by tax officials after a trial purchase in a lorry in Makó – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) informed MTI.
Némedi-Varga Éva, press officer of the NAV Csongrád County Tax and Customs Directorate said that the tax officials held a mystery shopping on the makó market, but they did not receive invoice for the apples bought. The inspection revealed that the origin of more than one ton of different fruit and vegetables could not be justified by the vendor, so the staff of the NAV informed the government office. (MTI)
