More than 8 tons of waste were collected in III. Bodrogi PET Cup
After the successful summer competitions in the Tisza, the autumn race of the pet boat waste derby achieved serious results in Bodrog. Organized with the active involvement of 160 participants III. At the Bodrogi PET Cup, 1,560 bags of waste were collected, so in the part of the river between Sárospatak and Olaszliszka, it was possible to completely clean some sections of the river back to the wild landscape.
In the competition, the CsiPET Team collected the most waste, which not only got to the top of the podium, but also finished first in terms of garbage collection per person, earning the Bodrog Hőse award. The event was supported by the Ministry of Technology and Industry.
The pet boat waste collection competition returned to Bodrog for the third time. The pet collectors once again received a lot of help from the local residents in the organization and waste collection. Thanks to the hospitality of the locals and the active participation of the coastal settlements and their mayors, the event takes place in an unforgettable experience and atmosphere every time. Evening performances and walks presenting cultural and natural values popular among pet lovers, as well as the tasting of delicious local wines, were not left out in the settlements along the Bodrog coast this year.
