Physical hourly wages increased by more than 8 percent in one year, according to a survey
According to an annual comparison, the average gross hourly wage of skilled and trained manual workers increased by more than 8 percent in the third quarter of this year, the employment agency Trenkwalder and the consulting company Moore Hungary told MTI on Wednesday.
The pace of wage growth is slightly slower than last year, when it reached 11 percent, and the gap within the country is significant. In Budapest, physical hourly wages are close to 2,000 HUF, while in Southern Transdanubia and Northern Hungary they are around 1,300 HUF. (MTI)
