More than 670 million HUF for the cultivation of vegetables
The consortium of the ZKI Vegetable Production Research Institute, the Flóratom Kft. and the Neumann János University won a non-refundable subsidy of 673 million HUF for the breeding of stress-tolerant vegetables from the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation (NKFI) – the consortium told MTI on Monday.
The aim of the project is to create hybrids with the best resistance to stress factors caused by external factors caused by climate change, using plant physiological measurements on four species (peppers, peas, cucumbers and melons). (MTI)
