SPAR is preparing for Easter with more than 600 tons of smoked meat
SPAR Hungary is also preparing a wide selection of products for this year’s Easter: more than 600 tons of smoked meat from the company’s meat plants in Bicske and Perbál, SPAR enjoy. and almost 20,000 kilograms of lettuce are delivered to stores from its convenience plant. The company buys traditional Easter vegetables from domestic producers for the most part.
“This year, one of our biggest holidays, Easter, falls on the last weekend of March, for which SPAR stores have been preparing for weeks. In the period before the holiday, we expect special traffic this year as well, preparations typically start two or three weeks before Easter, the busiest day is expected to be the Thursday before Good Friday. SPAR offers a wide selection of festive products – smoked meats, eggs, pastries, sweets and prime vegetables – at this time. The experience of the past period shows that the demand for premium products with a higher price range may be lower than usual, while we expect an increase in quality SPAR brand products. In order to make the service as smooth as possible, the time schedule of the employees of the SPAR and INTERSPAR stores will also be adjusted to the increased traffic”
– said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary.
