Prices of over 500 products have decreased at SPAR

“SPAR Hungary, one of the largest retail chains in the country, in order to draw the attention of its customers to the products subject to margin regulation set out in the recently enacted Government Decree 42/2025. (III.11.), will mark them with conspicuous, red price tags from March 17 for easier orientation. At the same time, SPAR continues its previously launched price strategy, as part of which it reduces the prices of several hundred products, mostly coming from domestic suppliers or manufactured in-house, week after week. In this way, we help our customers – including families, pensioners, students – save money with regular promotions”

In SPAR stores, 42/2025. (III.11.) In accordance with the government decree, the prices of 500 products have been reduced from March 17, 2025, and at least 700 yellow price-labeled, reduced-price products can be purchased at a discounted price. SPAR Hungary’s other budget-friendly promotions will continue in the coming months: the range of yellow price-labeled products changes every week and is also adjusted to seasonal offers.

Customers can also find numerous promotions in the popular MySPAR mobile application developed for Android, iOS and Huawei smartphones. In the application, they can also access the digital version of the 20% JOKER coupon found in the flyers, and in addition, they can find 18-20 other product offers in the application every week, for which shopping discounts can also be used.

SPAR also provides students with a special opportunity for their purchases. The company was the first retail chain to sign a cooperation agreement with Diverzum, the largest Hungarian student discount platform. The 15% STUDENT JOKER coupons for students placed at Diverzum can be redeemed in all SPAR, INTERSPAR, City SPAR, SPAR partner and SPAR market stores in Hungary, for a total of 3 products per purchase.
