More than 50 tons of expired confectionery materials were found in Budapest
At an enterprise specialized to supply confectioners and bakeries a total of 53 tons of expired, unlabelled, improperly stored products were found. The Pest County Government Office ordered the destruction of the products – the agency told MTI on Thursday.
In addition, the Pest County Government Office ordered the company to recall all of its powder-based products that were manufactured in 2015, because the traceability of the products is not guaranteed. So it can not be ruled out that as a component the Budapest-based company used expired raw materials. (MTI)
