Hungarian Treasury: more than 440 billion HUF subsidies were paid to the farmers
On the basis of the single payment applications submitted by the farmers last year, 200 billion HUF was paid and the amount together with the advances was more than 440 billion HUF, Dancsó József, Chairman of the Hungarian State Treasury (MÁK) told M1 news channel on Thursday.
The deadline for the payment of single applications for last year will expire on 30 June, he added.
The chairman of the MÁK recalled that the organization took over the paying agency’s duties from the Agriculture and Rural Development Agency from 1 January 2017. (MTI)
