More than 36 million forints raised in the advent campaign of Tesco and the Ecumenical Relief Organization
By December 24, shoppers had purchased a total of 146,000 364 coupons, thus supporting families in need with 36.6 million HUF, the aid organization told MTI on Tuesday. Tesco will support the work of the aid organization with another 1 million HUF after the sale of custom-designed face masks sold in its Central European stores last year. For the eleventh time, the store chain is helping the Ecumenical Relief Organization’s national advent fundraising xócampaign, in which shoppers could buy donation coupons worth 250 HUF online, as well as at checkouts and self-service checkouts.
