More than 327 tons of food was gathered in the Give Joy! action

A record amount of more than 327 tons of food donations for those in need has gathered in this year’s Give Joy! action – the organizers told MTI on Thursday.

According to the announcement, a joint initiative of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service and the Spar Group has resulted in the delivery of more than 31,000 gift packages to disadvantaged people before the holiday. The packages mainly contain everyday products, pasta, canned food, rice, biscuits, flour, sugar and edible oil. (MTI)
