More than 3.2 tonnes of meat products were withdrawn from the market by Nébih at a market in Budapest
The destruction of more than 3.2 tonnes of expired, unmarked, moldy, heavily polluted and irregularly produced meat products were ordered by the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) in the Fény Street market and suspended the operation of the shop until the errors are corrected.
According to a report of Nébih sent to MTI on Wednesday, a number of serious shortcomings have been found by experts in the meat business in the Fény Street market. The shop’s operators did not follow the most basic hygiene and storage requirements. According to the communication, official proceedings and fines are in progress. (MTI)
