Hungarians purchased online in a value of more than 300 billion HUF last year
Last year, net sales in online retail totaled at 319 billion HUF, 17 percent more than in the previous year, reaching 4.1 percent of total retail sales in Hungary – according to the research of the eNet Internet Research and Consulting Ltd. The results were sent to MTI on Tuesday.
The eNet noted that online retail growth rate slowed slightly compared to 2014, due to the increasing base year on year, but in the next 3-4 years net retail sales will continue to increase. The Hungarian e-traders also expect growth in the number of customers and in the proportion of online shoppings via mobile devices as well. (MTI)
