The obtainable support contributes to the liquidity of the fish farming sector by partially compensating producers for the loss of yield resulting from nature and environmental protection, water management restrictions and the increase in production costs, but for the maintenance of populations of species important for nature conservation and renewable natural resources. too. It will be possible to submit support applications from October 25, 2024, the state secretary explained. The grant can be requested for a lake area of ​​up to 1 hectare, and the condition is a 5-year commitment to preserve nature and biological diversity according to the technical content of the call. The subsidy amount that can be applied for is HUF 40,000 per hectare and per year.
