The coronavirus pandemic has caused more than 250 billion pounds in losses to the UK economy over the past year, according to a study presented at a prestigious London economic-financial analysis workshop on Monday.
The Center for Economics and Business Research (CEBR) presented its analysis on the eve of the anniversary of the first national closure ordered by the British government on 23 March last year to curb the pandemic. (MTI)
