NAV found more than 2.5 tons of spoiled meat in a truck
The financial inspectors of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) found more than 2.5 tons of spoiled, rotting meat in a truck on highway 47.
On Monday, NAV informed MTI that the truck with Hungarian license plate set off from Dévaványa, loaded with half-cut pork sacks.
According to the information, a nose-wrenching stench emanated from the cargo compartment of the vehicle because the cooling system had failed. Upon seeing the shipment, the patrol officers immediately notified the staff of the National Food Safety Office.
