Since March 2025 the number of certified products has increased by 7% (+6,723) and the number of licenses grew by 4% (+136). The label serves both as a reliable reference point for consumers and a tangible market advantage for companies. SMEs are the driving force behind this success: they account for 57% of all licensees, which indicates that the European green transition is being built from the bottom up. Italy leads the country rankings (17% of products), followed by Spain (15%), France (12%) and Germany (9%) – together they cover more than half of the market. Among product groups the frontrunners are paints and varnishes (38,096 products), followed by paper and hygiene products (20,253), textiles (11,067) and hard surface cleaners (8,284).
