More than 1000 tons of smoked items were purchased in Tesco
Typical seasonal Easter-food proved to be more than popular at Tesco this year. More than 99 percent of the ham-products were of Hungarian origin, and customers had a wide range of choices to select stuff from. The traffic of traditional Hungarian and premium products surpassed that of last year, both the segment of local and pre-packed ham-products got stronger in the past one year. However, the greatest difference from the previous years is the fact that the major focus of customers was quality. As a whole, more than 1000 tons of smoked items were purchased, which covers one-fifth of the entire year's revenue.
