Tesco supports the fight against cancer with more than 10 million HUF
In the month of the fight against breast cancer (October) Tesco also joined to the GoPink! international campaign, which was intended to draw attention to the prevention of breast cancer. Tesco, the supermarket chain's suppliers and the customers gathered 10.52369 million HUF that will support the work of the Hungarian League Against Cancer.
Within the GoPink! campaign, the customers could choose among nine kinds of mushrooms and seven types of cut flowers in the Tesco stores between 6 and 25 October, of which they could donate the fight against breast cancer. Wit the initiative, Tesco wanted to draw the customers’ attention to pay attention to their health, and do not neglect the screenings, and seek medical advice as soon as possible if they experience suspicious symptoms.
