Saving several billions with mechanical washing up
The “Get serious” environmental campaign has ended. Calgonit’s and Bosch's initiative was intended to illustrate the very significant energy consumption difference, between traditional washing up and mechanical dishwashing.
On the basis of the Central Statistical Office and European datas; if everyone in the tested 4 rural cities and in Budapest would use dishwasher machines, the annual water consumption savings would be an average nearly 7-fold, surpassing the European average of 5-fold and in Budapest could exceed 2.5 billion HUF.
Bosch’s and Calgonit’s joint "Get serious" campaign was launched in order to help increase the penetration of the domestic dishwashers, and calls for attention to the differences, between the dishwashing habits and environmental consciousness.
