More young farmers will receive starting support
About eight hundred more young farmers will receive start-up fundings from the contest announced this year for the fourth time. The 103-points limit has been reduced to 90 points, because the high interest towards the support- the Prime Minister’s Office said the government news site.
According to the information, a total of 60 billion HUF is available to increase the competitiveness of more than 5,000 young farmers. With the tender the Prime Minister's Office supports those young farmers between ages of 18-40 farmers who begin their farming activities for the first time, have adequate professional knowledge and undertake to lead their farms as contractor for at least five years.
