Thousands of participants are expected to the Lidl Lake Balaton Cross-swimming contest

one of Hungary’s best-known mass sports events, the Lake Balaton Cross-swimming contest, will be organized for the 37th time, on 29 June. The organizers await thousands of participants this year.

“I follow the event year after year, although I have not yet participated in the event with a distance of 5.2 kilometers,” – Szabó Tünde, Minister of State, responsible for Sport said at the press conference on Wednesday. She added that the Lake Balaton Cross-swimming contest is an event where athletes and hobby athletes can also start, regardless of age. (MTI)
