Thousands of visitors are expected to visit the 15th pumpkin festival in the Őrség

The organizers are waiting for thousands of visitors to the Őrségi Tökfesztivál, one of the outstanding cultural, ecotouristic and gastronomic events of West Transdanubia, which is being held for the fifteenth time this weekend.

The festival is organized as the characteristic product of the Őrség, around the oil pumpkin, as well as the folk customs associated with it. The program will start on Friday in Nagyrákos with an exhibition opening and book presentation. (MTI)
