More wine sold
NAIK AKI PÁIR data reveal that the production price of raw milk was HUF 107.84/kg in Hungary in February 2020. Raw milk’s export price was HUF 110.45/kg in the 2nd month of the year, up 4 percent from January 2020 and 9 percent in comparison with February 2019. According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the value of Hungary’s milk and dairy product export and import both grew by 6 percent in 2019; import’s value was 18 percent bigger than the export value.
In February 2020 the production price of broiler chicken was HUF 256/kg, while turkey’s production price was HUF 397/kg. Data by the European Commission reveal: the price of whole chicken was EUR 192/100kg in February 2020; in Hungary whole chicken cost HUF 511/kg. Domestically produced wine without geographical indication sold in Hungary and wines with protected geographical indication were available at 6.3 percent higher prices in January-February 2020 then in the same period of 2019. //
