French wine and spirits exports over ten billion euros
The export of French wines and spirits last year broke the historical record, exceeding 10 billion euros for the first time. The increase was 10 percent compared to last year – announced the French wine and spirits exporters association (FEVS) on Tuesday.
The success of French alcoholic beverages are can be primarily explainedby the increase on the Asian markets where sales growth was 29 percent while in European results were quite mixed last year. The increase mainly caused by the 10.5 percent increase of the prices, exports only increased by 2.4 percent – reports tozsdeforum.hu.
