Nestlé profits over 10 billion swiss francs
Nestlé’s net profit in 2009 was 10.4 billion Swiss francs. The company expects stronger growth this year, than last year. Nestlé's sales volume increased by 4.1 percent, to 107.6 swiss francs.
The amount of profit of the Swiss giant, was lower than the 18 billion swiss francs of 2008, the base, however, contains the shares acquired in Alcon.
Nestlé’s results developed in accordance with the results of analyst expectations. The world's largest packaged food producer was affected hard by the strong franc and the recession together, in the first half of 2009 – reports Világgazdaság Online, after AP.
