Fish sales may increase by fifteen-twenty percent
The VAT cuts can increase the sales of fish by up to 15-20 percent according to the chain of stores, and consumers can buy carp, catfish or salmon on 17-22 percent more favorable prices than last year – Világgazdaság Online wrote.
Fish producers have not indicated that they would increase their delivery prices, so the chain of stores promise to deliver the full price advantage to consumers, after the VAT on fish was reduced from 27 percent to 5 percent from 1 January – the panorama of Világgazdaság reveals.
