Thirteen percent pay gap among the genders
According to Merces.hu's latest online survey of payments; In Hungary, a woman earns an average 13 percent less than a male worker.
During last year, 82 thousands people took part voluntarily in the survey.
The results of the research show, that the pay gap between the two genders is increasing with the number of years spent at work. After more than 6 years of experience behind them, women earn less by an average 16 percent. For entrants this data is 8 percent – reports Világgazdaság Online.
