The Food Bank, the UN FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture offers a solution for hunger
Following the international community's agreement that hunger should be eliminated by 2030, the FAO, the Food Bank and the Ministry of Agriculture on the occasion of the World Food Day presented their concrete steps to terminate domestic starvation and food supply problems at a joint press conference.
The Hungarian Food Bank Association and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) jointly launched the donation convoy which is passing through the downtown Budapest with more than 30 tons of food donations and offerings delivered to needy Hungarian families.
Companies participating in the 10th Food Bank Donation Convoy: Bijó Élelmiszer Kereskedelmi Kft., Bio-Fungi Kft., Budapesti Nagybani Piac, Bonafarm Csoport, Danone Kft., Famíliatészta Kft., FrieslandCampina Hungária Zrt., Gyermelyi Zrt., Izsáki Házitészta Kft., METRO Nagykereskedelem, Nestlé Hungária Kft., Penny Market Kft., Sága Foods Zrt., Soós Tésztaipari Kft., TESCO Globál Áruházak Zrt. and the Univer Zrt.
