Nine out of ten households are still yoghurt buyers
In 2010 nine out of ten households bought yoghurt; nearly all buyers picked some kind of fruit yoghurt, but only 60 percent of the category’s buyers bought plain yoghurt. GfK Hungária’s ConsumerScan reveals that most big brands kept their consumers, but an increasing number of people try private labels too: in 2009 58 percent bought PL yoghurt – in 2010 this ratio grew to 62 percent. We bought more than half of our yoghurt in hyper- and supermarkets.
