Seven from 10 Esselunga stores use renewable electricity
Italian supermarket chain Esselunga has revealed that more than 70% of its stores have switched to electricity from renewable resources. This step will help the retailer to cut CO2 emissions by about 113 million tonnes already this year. Esselunga has also installed two trigeneration systems at its Parma and Biandrate facilities.
