Fish soup to be made from ten tons of fish during the weekend at the Baja Fishing Festival
Fish soup to be made from about ten tons of fish, prepared in nearly 1,500 cauldrons at the Baja Fishing Festival that begins on Thursday.
Bócsa Barnabás, managing director of the festival’s organizer the Baja Marketing Kft. told MTI that the festival was organized for the first time at the 300th anniversary of the Baja township. In 1996, fish soup was cooked only in 300 cauldrons, the event has since become a multi-day program series, and has become a real celebration. (MTI)
