Attila Till, MOHU’s ambassador, spoke about his thoughts on DRS
MOHU’s DRS has successfully recycled 100 million bottles since its launch. The system, introduced in the summer, aims to increase the recycling rate of PET bottles from 40% to 90%. Without the DRS, a significant portion of bottles would be incinerated or buried, causing environmental harm. The program is endorsed by TV host Till Attila and supported by a mobile app that helps users locate return points and check bottle eligibility. MOHU’s goal is to achieve a 90% recycling rate for PET bottles by 2029, significantly reducing environmental impact.
