This is how we drink our wine
The Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) and the National Council of Wine Communities (HNT) have developed the new marketing communication strategy for Hungarian wines together. Both organisations have had market research done, in order to see clearly as regards the wine drinking habits of Hungarians. In general we can say that the results revealed: Hungarians basically like Hungarian wines and spritzer is a real Hungaricum product.
The studies have also found that wine tourism needs to be developed if we want to popularise Hungarian wines among foreigners; what is more, wine tourism can also serve as one of the pillars of collective marketing efforts in the domestic market. HNT president Ottó Légli told in connection with the 1,500-person representative survey: it was another step taken in the direction of conscious strategy planning. The next step will be learning how wineries see their own position in the market. //
