A Croatian town would expand its tourism offer by buying camels
The city of Szentgyöngyvár (Durdevac) would buy four camels, because the mayor believes that the animals could be the main attractions of the so called “Croatian Sahara” desert, that van be found nearby.
The Croatian town would buy the camels for 3,000 euros per camel from a Danish breeder.
The nature conservation area attracts many tourists – said the mayor, who thought camels will make the city even more attractive. (MTI)
