Tesco’s lasting growth path
Compared with the first half of 2016, Tesco reported a 1.1-percent sales growth in the first half of 2017. The sales increase was the biggest in the UK and Ireland. Bernstein Research analyst Bruno Monteyne stressed: Tesco has left the crisis behind and is on a steady growth path, with the group’s sales reaching GBP 759 million.
