Tesco ditches best before dates
In order to reduce food waste, Tesco removes the best before date from more than 100 fruits and vegetables. According to a recent survey, 69 percent of shoppers agree with this initiative and half of the 2,000 respondents think that ditching the ‘best before’ date can result in perfectly edible food being stored longer.
