Tesco: a strong expansion in traffic
The UK's largest retailer, Tesco's turnover reached a”solid growth” in the third quarter of this year. In particular, strong growth has occured in the sales of non-food products – such as toys and electrical goods.
Overall, Tesco's group sales – excluding fuel – grew by 8.8 percent, its international sales by 12 percent.
According to Terry Leahy, Tesco's CEO; it is experienced, that customer confidence improved towards Tesco and encouraging trends can be experienced in also its UK and abroad subsidiaries, although recession is still evincible in a number of Tesco markets – reports Világgazdaság Online after BBC News.
