Chains try to control food prices
Several chains saw the opportunity in the VAT rate increase and will not indorse the difference in prices resulting from the VAT rate increase – writes Népszabadság.
According to article of the newspaper; Tesco promises that will not increase prices of about six hundred, mostly basic food products for a month without the VAT increase.
According to Vámos György, Secretary of the National Association of Commerce, the reducing of prices is a life-dath match for the chains – reports MTI.
