Tesco: over 1 billion profit in 6 months, with decreasing profit dynamics
Britain's largest supermarket network, Tesco recorded a 1.03 billion pounds net profit in the first half of the year. A 1.01 billion was the recorded value a year earlier.
Reuters analyst expects that Tesco will have 3.4 percent increase in turnover for the second quarter of the financial year in the UK. In the first half, Tesco’s estimated global turnover of 28.1 billion pounds could exceed by 10 percent the same period of previous year. The growth is provided by the company's first acquisition in South Korea, which can also be offset the downturn which was occured primarily in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Ireland – reports napi.hu.
