Despite the VAT cuts, the price of pork increased
Pork has been significantly cheaper over the last year, so more and more people hear that there is nothing to do with VAT cuts because they can not lower the price of the products. However, according to the data and our knowledge of economics, this is not true – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
In January last year the VAT on pork meat, and this year the price of poultry and eggs decreased from 27 percent to 5 percent. Since then, it has been repeatedly said that the decline has not, or just barely appeared in prices. (agrarszektor.hu)
