Asda rolls out fully recyclable tube packaging for own-brand crisps
Asda has announced the introduction of a fully recyclable tube packaging for its own-brand crisps, Snax.
The initiative is due to help Asda remove 98.2 tonnes of non-recyclable packaging from its operations on a yearly basis.
The move is also part of Asda’s commitment to cut down plastic packaging in its own-brand products range by 15% by 2021.
According to the retailer, it is the first UK supermarket to launch a fully recyclable crisp tube.
