Smoking ban in Tokyo restaurants
In the spirit of preparation for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, smoking bans in restaurants in the Japanese capital have become complete.
The plan to eliminate the harmful effects of passive smoking has been phased in by the Tokyo government -the insidethegames.biz site reminded. The first cut-off was announced in July 2018, and the total ban, even though both events were postponed by one year, is now in effect.
As a result of the measure, restaurants have placed their ashtrays on the streets. (MTI)
