Dairy market consultation: the government acts in order to reach balance on the market

The government considers it impotant with high priority to protect the interests of the participants of the dairy co-operation, against those who threaten the market equilibrium with their activities – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) stressed in a communication, that was published following a meeting with the dairy industry participants.

The ministry, the dairy farmers, the representatives of the dairy industry and the domestic food retail held a consultation on Tuesday, in which they reviewed the situation of the dairy industry following the sudden increase of imports milk in recent weeks. The reviewed the possibilities of stopping the phenomenon in the Hungarian market. (MTI)
