This November, Budapest will once again be the technology capital of Central Europe: between November 13 and 16, TECHXPO 2025 will be held at Hungexpo, bringing the spirit of the largest international technology shows – CES and IFA – to the region. After last year’s debut event, the organizers are preparing even more professional content, world-class speakers and spectacular audience programs this year.

The TECHXPO launched last year is not just a conference, but four days of crystal-clear technology experience: after the international conference day and the HealthX programs focusing on health technology, the summit will also open its doors to the general public with the interactive attractions of the PlayIT SHow, which awaits gaming and e-sports lovers of all ages.

The TECHXPO program, which starts on November 13, offers insights into exciting areas on the first day, such as secure e-government, the mobility revolution of self-driving vehicles, electric propulsion and AI-based manufacturing, groundbreaking solutions for the new energy era at the dawn of the future, fintech trends of the future, or even the transforming management practices in a completely new labor market environment.

In all this, experts such as Ms. Janice Peng (Vice President, Huawei Cloud Europe), Tamás Jeránek (CEO, Siemens Zrt.), Robin Boros (Magyar Telekom Nyrt), Annamária Vértessy Koller (BlackRock), József Kocsis (Magyar Suzuki) or automotive industry expert Gábor Várkonyi will be there to help the audience. The program will also be enriched by a special roundtable discussion focusing on women’s digital safety with the participation of experts on the topic. TECHXPO also provides a prominent place for networking that connects international and domestic threads, as an important goal is for different sectors to think together about future solutions.

Healthcare innovation to play a central role on November 14

This year, the TECHXPO program will also feature the topics of health technology and digital healthcare, and the HealthX conference will provide a forum for this on November 14. In the morning, healthcare decision-makers, innovators and leaders will present their future-shaping views and talk about the possible development directions of the Hungarian market. How technology can help patient care in the short term, where the path of the private sector will lead in 2026 – experts who are already shaping the healthcare of the future will share their thoughts on all of this. Peter Ahnesorg (Roche Hungary) reports on global trends that are currently reshaping the usual practices of medicine worldwide, and for which Hungarian market players should prepare now.

The audience can glimpse the verbal clash between decision-makers and “celebrity doctors” through an inspiring roundtable discussion, with the participation of, among others, Dr. Róbert Kőnig (Ministerial Commissioner), Dr. Andrea Ficzere (Uzsoki Hospital) and Pál Győrfi (OMSZ). Well-known businessmen such as Petya Balogh (STRT Holding CEO) and Róbert Lancz (Doktor24 Medicina Zrt) will discuss the intersection of business and healthcare, as well as their personal experiences, while the focus of the afternoon Glamour HealthX will be on women’s health, as well as the intersection of AI and longevity (a long, active life). Interactive programs provide an opportunity for innovation enthusiasts and professionals to directly discuss the details of challenges, opportunities and strategies.

VR experiences, e-sports and technology demonstrations at their peak

The Telekom PlayIT Show will open its doors to the public on the weekend of November 15-16: these are the two days when gaming, e-sports, VR experiences, interactive exhibitions and technology demonstrations take over the field. The latest tech companies will be introduced, the T-Esport Championship finals will return this year with a total prize pool of 100,000 euros, and the Red Bull Tetris National Final will also be held, revealing the identity of the Hungarian participant in the Dubai world competition. The festival will also feature a special Minecraft Day, the PlayIT Simulator Show, and the program will close with The Hungarian Game Awards on Sunday evening. For the first time this year, special cosplay tickets will be available, allowing costumed visitors to enter the event at a discounted price.

TECHXPO is an annual program series that began in 2024 and is held in partnership with the Swiss company Ringier, and has grown into one of the largest technology and innovation events in the country.
