Technological development at Nagykun-Hús Kft. in Kunhegyes
With the help of more than HUF 483.5 million conditionally refundable European Union grant won in the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Program (GINOP) tender, technological development was realized at Nagykun-Hús Húsipari és Kereskedelmi Kft. in Kunhegyes, which deals with meat processing and sales – the company announced in the with MTI.
According to the announcement, as a result of the investment, the company produces pork-based food products that, in addition to substances that support digestion, also contain medicinal herbs that improve the quality of life.
During the project, a plant with a floor area of more than 1,064 square meters was built, i.e. the building for the slicing, packaging and the associated cold store. In addition, several pieces of equipment were purchased for the processing plant, including a flowpack packaging machine, a bacon stringing machine, an ice flake maker, grinder, and foiling equipment. With the new equipment, they can produce finished products more efficiently, and they can increase the product range more flexibly in accordance with market demands, they said.
