Candy manufacturers expect similar or slightly higher turnover at Easter, compared to last year
The Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers Association, in addition to an increase in the share of high-quality products expect a similar, or slightly higher Easter traffic than in last year – Sánta Sándor, president of the association told at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
The Hungarians purchased 768 tons of seasonal candy products last year in the Easter period in an amount of 3.6 billion HUF. This is a 10 percent increase in volume and a 7 percent decline in value, compared to the previous year – he added. (MTI)
